Flame-Fusion Sapphire Crystal (Lemon Yellow)
Detailed Diagram
Product Overview
Lemon yellow flame-fusion sapphire is a vibrant and elegant synthetic gemstone material produced using the Verneuil method. With its bright, translucent yellow tone, this sapphire offers a fresh and energetic visual appeal, making it highly attractive for jewelry and decorative applications.
Compared with natural yellow sapphire, flame-fusion sapphire provides excellent color consistency, higher availability, and cost efficiency while maintaining outstanding hardness and durability.
Production Principle
The crystal is grown by melting high-purity aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) powder in an oxyhydrogen flame at temperatures above 2000°C. As the molten droplets solidify on a seed crystal, a single-crystal sapphire boule is formed.
The lemon yellow color is achieved by introducing specific trace elements during the growth process, ensuring uniform coloration throughout the crystal.
